Community Harvest began worshipping together in October of 1999. We held worship services in a tent that was used in the Gulf War while God led us to our land purchase, through our church site development and into the sanctuary building which we presently occupy. Community Harvest is a family oriented and mission minded church. We have sent youth and adult members on missions to Australia, New Orleans,  West Virginia, Costa Rica and Mexico. We offer an annual clothes closet to the local community, and an annual Back to School Back Pack distribution, Community Harvest is a member of the  Southern Baptist Convention,  participates in the  Marion Baptist Association and  The Florida Baptist Association.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We have been redeemed by the blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has forgiven us our sins and has written our name in the Book of Life for all eternity. We believe that the Bible is the absolute inerrant Word of God. 

It is God-inspired and the Holy word by which all persons should live. We believe that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life. We believe that Jesus Christ died for every person in this world, and that belief in Him is the only way to receive eternal life. We believe that by Christ's command every Christian is to be a witness of the Gospel.

OUR MISSION

The purpose of Community Harvest Baptist Church is to seek out the lost in our community, the surrounding areas, 

and eventually the world, and lead them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; to teach, train, and disciple it's members into a closer walk with God using the Bible as it's source document; to create a place of worship that honors God, fosters Christian fellowship and encourages its members to live more like Christ, in every way possible.
